Access control for HOAs, gated communities and parks

One system for every remote, fob and car opener.

Manage every credential in your community from one office or one login. Residents enroll the car button they already have. If your gate follows industry standards, you keep it. That is where the savings start.

Learning station

Residents enroll their own car. No staff time, no trip to the gate.

A learning station sits in the community. Each car's built-in garage door button sends its own unique ID, like an RFID tag. The system links that ID to the car and to the resident's account.

  1. In the app

The resident taps a button. The station gets ready to learn.

  2. At the station

The resident presses the garage door button in their car

  3. Linked

Its unique ID is assigned to that car and that account

  4. At the gate

From then on, that car button opens the gate

The app step needs an internet connection. Once a car is learned, the gate decides on site. How the learning station works

Savings

Where the savings come from.

Every community is different, so we do not quote a number here. These are the places a community can spend less.

  • Keep the gate you haveUniti retrofits gate and access systems that follow industry standards, so you are not paying for a new gate.
  • Use the opener residents already ownThe garage door button built into a resident's car becomes their credential. Fewer remotes and fobs to buy.
  • Self-service enrollmentResidents enroll at the learning station, so office staff do not spend their time programming remotes.
  • Revoke one, not everyoneWhen a remote is lost or a resident moves out, shut off that one credential. No shared code to change for everyone.
  • Manage it remotelyUpdate access, check logs and run reports from one login, so there are fewer trips to the gate.

Works with the gate you already have.

If your gate and access system follow industry standards, Uniti can retrofit them. Keep what works, skip the cost of a new gate, and manage it all in one system.

See what we work with

How it works

Decisions happen at the gate, not in the cloud.

Each controller runs its own schedules and access on site. The cloud platform adds remote management, enrollment, logs, reports and alerts on top. The gates never depend on it.

  1. On site

    Gates, doors, lights and sensors

  2. On site

Uniti controller makes every decision locally

  3. Optional

    Cloud platform

Remote management, enrollment, logs, reports and alerts

  4. Apps

    For managers, staff and residents

Access, schedules and emergency behavior keep running on site if the internet drops.

Emergency access

Responders get in the way they always have, plus more ways in.

Fire, EMS, law enforcement and city officials keep the ways in they already use. Uniti adds more, and any one is enough. If something fails, the gate defaults to open.

Emergency AccessFor first responders

  • Dispatch call
  • Emergency remote
  • Responder vehicle
  • Another gate
